A fantastic Festival day was had by all in Sea Girt, NJ on Saturday: Music, Dance, Food, Drink & especially Sport!
Thank you to our hosts from the Irish Festival at the Jersey Shore for again including GAA in the Festival Program, we’re already looking forward to planning even more GAA activity next year (Sign-up below if you’d like to get involved)!
Thanks to all the folks who helped plan the GAA section & to those who came along to try out Irish sports!
If the day wasn’t special enough, we had Galway Senior Hurler Jonathan Glynn join in our Hurling game, Jonathan played in the All-Ireland Hurling Final (think Superbowl for the national coverage) two weeks ago in front of 82,000 people! This is what is special about the GAA, you can actually play along side the big stars of Hurling & Gaelic Football!
