Jersey Shore GAA to play Hurling at Lakewood BlueClaws home game!

Jersey Shore GAA will be playing the Irish sport of Hurling as the curtain raiser for the Lakewood BlueClaws at the annual Irish Heritage Night in August!

Our thanks to the BlueClaws for including us in the Irish Heritage Night!
We will be demonstrating the skills of Hurling, Ireland’s national sport, which traces back to 3,000 years to Celtic Warrior Times! Today Hurling is known as the fastest and most skilled field sport in the world, watched by crowds over 82,000 in Croke Park, Dublin!

We are the Shore chapter of Irelands national sports Organization, Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA). Founded in 2014, we are part of the New York GAA league, joining a family of over 100 clubs across the States.

We offer awesome team sports, such as: Hurling, Gaelic Football & Camogie (Women’s Hurling) to Shore locals. We will be running teams for Men, Women & Youth section by age groups! We are a Non-Profit Sports & Cultural Organization with a mission to promote Irish culture thru sport!
