Jersey Shore GAA has been working closely with the Games Development Officer of the Philadelphia GAA to establish our Youth Program! Currently, youth sessions are held every Saturday at 10am at our home base of Saint Mary’s School in Middletown, NJ (weather permitting). Your children will get to learn the basics of Hurling/Camogie & Gaelic Football from our youth coaches, who have all completed certified youth training courses through the GAA. All necessary equipment and protective gear will be provided. We only ask that you bring a personal water bottle for your child, as well as soccer cleats if you have!
As the program continues to grow, teams will begin to form based on their appropriate age groups. Youth ‘blitzes’ and other competitions will be available throughout the region for the children to put their skills to the test! The best GAA clubs, especially here in America, are the ones with a successful youth development program, and we’re very excited to get ours going at the Jersey Shore!
